Post-Open-Source World Imagined

IBM has closed the source on its RedHat Linux CentOS. Not far-fetched to teleport into the future and see the post-open-source world. At this point OOS mainly benefits the Mag7 firms who comprise 30% of the S&P 500 in just 7 stocks. They do this by radically reducing compute infrastructure costs across 7 companies and pay very little to the majority of OSS programmers. Incentives need changing to produce polished apps for open source. We surmise "Satoshi Nakamoto" tried to reward OSS developers with bitcoin rewards to fix computer insecurity for online business. Unforeseen was how bitcoin was hijacked for store value instead of micro-payments for programmers. We need to try again lest open source simply becomes compute infrastructure... post-open-source-post
