Deprecating Sudo

Running Linux on Chromebook was going well until I decided to write to the Debian file system from a Linux application. The message Chromebook is unable to save files which require sudo. (/usr/bin/pkexec fail)

d By reading up, I've come to understand Sudo is being deprecated after 71 years. Sudo was run by a process that has the Linux “no new privileges” flag set. This causes the set-user-ID bit to be ignored when running an executable, which will prevent sudo from functioning...

Apparently Google jumped the gun and implemented on ChromeOS ahead of the rest of Linux.

Still researching a solution. Will post what I find.
